One of my Young Women in in the drill team at Alta High School. Drill team is a high school dance group that do performances and enter competitions in a range of styles. It is highly competitive and all of the girls have been training in dance from a young age. They recently put on a mini drill team to raise funds for upcoming events. They had to get kids to sign up for classes run by the drill team and then finish with a performance at the basketball to showcase what they had learnt. I decided to sign Emma up because she LOVES dancing and because it would help out Mikail.
Emma went to her two training sessions and really enjoyed being in the 'dance world' again. She also loved getting ready for the performance and I must say - I did too! I have missed getting her ready and doing her hair and make up for performances so it was a fun time for us both! We went and watched her perform at the basketball game and it was obvious she was loving being on stage again! The place was jam packed which only excited her more! She had a great time and did a great job! Way to go Emma!
