So as most of you know Valentines Day isn't a big deal in Australia. No one really celebrates it at all or does anything for it. Not the case here at all! People decorate their doors or houses with hearts and stickers etc and the kids do a bunch of Valentines Day activities at school. They also make boxes to hold their Valentines and each kid in the class makes or gives Valentines to every other child in the class. Needless to say - it's quite the ordeal! I haven't been a fan of it - it seems like so much effort and yet another holiday to celebrate. I did however change my tune on the day as my lovely husband took me out to lunch at Tucanos (one of my favourites!) and bought me a bunch of helium balloons, an edible floral arrangement made out of fruit and chocolate and a box of chocolates! We also had cupcakes from 'The Sweet Tooth Fairy' (Also one of my favourites). I felt very loved! Thanks babe! You're the best!
