A while back when we first decided to move Emma down to the basement we were showing Lance and Denise the new room and making plans to 'pretty it up' for her. We were deciding on paint colours when Denise noticed the empty space behind the door. It really was a wasted space that you couldn't do much with. Denise had the idea of building a shelf into it. The boys started work and began turning the space into a built in shelf. It took a while and many trips to home depot but eventually it was finished! They did a great job and it looks amazing. It matches her new room so well and is such a space saver! It's one of my favourite parts of her room now and she LOVES it too! Way to go Paul and Lance - you did a great job! : )
