Conference Weekend

This past weekend was conference weekend and we were lucky enough to get some tickets to attend. Brother Meurs managed to get Paul tickets to the Saturday afternoon and Priesthood session and unfortunately Mark and Lisa got sick and no longer needed their tickets for the Sunday morning session so we were able to use them as well. Emma was super excited to be able to go to the Sunday morning session and was particularly excited to see the prophet "in real life". We headed into the city early and watched "Music and the spoken word" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It really is breath taking to hear them sing live. The acoustics in the conference centre really magnifies the amazing vocal talents of the choir and we were blown away. Conference then started and we were blessed to hear some really amazing talks. It was a great experience and Emma had a great time. We were so impressed with how well she listened and sang along and how her little face lit up when the prophet walked into the room and got up to speak. She was star struck and enthralled!
