Just before halloween we decided to have our first ever go at pumpkin carving. It turned out to be VERY messy but a whole lot of fun. The pumpkins looked awesome once they were lit and glowing in the dark. It was cool to see the different faces and shapes the kids had designed come to life. Whilst the kids said they didn't like the mess involved in having to clean out the 'guts' of their pumpkins they loved drawing on their designs and watching them come to life as Dad cut them out. It was a lot of fun and something I am sure we will be doing again next year!
