Emma came home with an assignment from school to create a box to put all her valentines day cards in. There are prizes for the most creative, prettiest, movie themed, super hero themed and book themed. We went off to hobby lobby to get some supplies and decided to make an animal carriage. We bought all the wood and paint and set to work. We are totally stoked with how it turned out and pretty impressed with our creativity - especially since we are not used to having to do so many craft projects! The kids had fun painting and making a huge mess - luckily Paul had the brilliant idea to cover the kitchen bench with glad wrap! It made cleaning up so much easier as we simply pulled it all up and threw it away! Genius!
