Tonight Emma, her friend Ellie and I got to go and watch the BYU gymnastics team take on the Texas Women's University team in Provo. It was AWESOME! I have always loved gymnastics and tonight reminded me of why! The way that they throw themselves through the air and balance on the beam is truly amazing! Emma and Ellie also loved it and Emma is saying she wants to do gymnastics now instead of dancing... I am ok with that because I loved doing gymnastics when I was her age too! Em got her photo taken with her favourite gymnast Madeleine Johnson (Maddy). Maddy was the top scorer on the bars (9.800). She was so friendly and was more than happy to have a picture with Em when she asked. She had a chat to her and when she asked Em if she was going to come to another meet, Emma responded with "I am going to go to EVERY single one!" It was such a great night and Emma really enjoyed herself. Ellie was a delight to have along too - The pair of them got up and danced for the crowd during the break between rotations and loved giving high 5's to the mascot! Thanks so much for the tickets Paul! Oh and in case you were wondering... BYU destroyed Texas! Go you mighty Cougars! : )
