Our little girl turned seven at the end of june.... She is growing up way too fast! She decided it would be fun to have a sleep over with a few of her close friends. The girls came round for dinner and after jumping into their pyjamas the fun began. They had birthday cake, played sparklers outside, had make overs and then settled down to watch High School Musical 3.
My sister Jenny and Paul were on hand to help make the girls up. I was in charge of the hair, Jenny took make up and Paul did their nails! One of the girls even commented on what a fabulous job Paul did with the nail polish! They all looked really cute - especially Bella who had her hair straightened for the first time - it took some convincing but she loved it in the end!
After posing for some photos the girls climbed into bed to watch the movie. I'm not really sure how much of the movie they actually saw but they did have a good time jumping around on the mattresses and throwing popcorn at each other. Emma and Bella decided to Show off a bit by doing backflips and backsaults on the bed! The girls eventually settled down and feel asleep around midnight.
It was a really fun party and Emma seemed to really enjoy her first big sleep over! Now to start planning her next birthday.....
