This year for Halloween marks the first time since moving here that we have all dressed up and taken part! I'm usually a bit of a Halloween grinch but each year the holiday grows on me! We kicked off the festivities with a trunk or treat at the church. The kids played games and had a great time going from car to car saying "treeeat!" And putting the goods on their bags! They were so funny to watch!
On Halloween Sar came round and we headed over to the Cooks house for dinner. Afterwards he hit the streets for the main event - trick or treating! The babies had the best time (even if they were SO slow). The older kids took off and went ahead - going at the babies pace just wasn't for them. Once we got home we dumped all the goodies out into one big pile - holy cow! So much candy!
Halloween has definitely grown on me - I even enjoyed dressing up! I think the fun of watching my kids have such a great time makes it all worth the while! Now to start thinking up costumes for next year ; )
