I'm not gonna lie - this made me tear up! I can't believe my babies are growing up so fast! This past weekend we decided it was time to switch them over into toddler beds! Arghhh - be still my aching heart! They can't be that old already! Where has the time gone?
To be honest I probably wouldn't have done this yet if we weren't coming back to Australia soon. It was too hard trying to organise cots for them back home and move them from each place we are staying so we decided having them in regular beds would be best.
It has actually been a relatively smooth transition too! They came out a few times the first night but we knew if we were hard on them at the beginning it would be easier in the long run. Last night was only night four and they didn't get out of bed at all! Not even once! Success! Each night got less and less- although Kendall loves her sleep so she was pretty much great with it from the start! Hooray! What great babies we have... If I can even call them that anymore!
I snapped these pics the day we changed them over. Don't they just look so grown up? They were super excited and spent most of the day in their rooms jumping on and off the bed : )
