I know - It's a little late. Sorry. I aways put off blog posts that require me to upload photos from my actual camera. It's so much easier to upload to the blog straight from my Iphone! Better late than never though right? So here it is....
Hayden wanted to have his birthday party at Boondocks again this year. It really is a super fun place to go to and their birthday parties are fantastic! They have laser tag, bumper boats, go karts, arcade games, simulation rides and mini golf! When you book your birthday party you get a party room with pizza and cake and then unlimited play on all the rides plus 20 tokens for each child to play the arcade games and win tickets. The tickets are then exchanged for prizes at the booth up front.
For being the birthday boy Hayden got to spin around as fast as he could, wrapping himself in tickets while everyone else sang happy birthday. He got over 200 tickets just from this one game! He was so excited! He also got to spin the birthday wheel. His first spin was "spin again" so he earned twenty tokens and then got a second spin. His second spin landed on a free gift! He got to choose between a few different items but in the end chose a boondocks teddy bear to take home to the twins who were too little to join in the fun! That's such a Hayden thing to do - always thinking about his family!
The kids had a great time playing the arcade games and earning their tickets. They then played laser tag (important note: I WON! haha) then they did the bumper boats, go karts, mini golf and then finished with another game of laser tag (sadly I wasn't able to kick any butts in this one - I was packing away the food and presents!). It was a great day with a great bunch of kids! I am sure this time next year I will be writing a similar blog post as he has already mentioned that he wants his next party there again!
