Hayden is 9!!!

It is hard to believe that 9 years ago today this gorgeous little spunk was born! Hayden is such a delight and we just adore him! He has the heart of an angel and is one of the sweetest most caring kids around! Hayden is not without his challenges (like any kid) but his love and devotion to his family and those he cares about is extreme and he makes me laugh on a daily basis! Here are some fun facts about this crazy cat! 

- Hayden has been taking karate for two and a half years now. He is a red beginner belt and is improving so fast! He is amazing to watch and his skills are far beyond his age and belt level. He has one on one private lessons with his teacher and she works on black belt skills with him that aren't taught in his regular classes. She said he is mastering them quickly and will be ready for the black belt and weapons classes offered once he hits his brown belt. Go Hayden!

- Hayden also loves soccer. He has been playing it every spring and winter season since we moved here and has really started to find his groove. He is an excellent defender and starts up again with spring training in a few weeks! Keep it up champ!

- Hayden is a ladies man! His best friend is a girl and he seems to always be hanging out with the girls at church and school. Not sure what the deal is but for some reason he clicks better with the fairer sex... must be those handsome looks he gets from his Dad (who was quite the ladies man himself!)

- Hayden is a fantastic big brother to the twins and always makes them laugh. They love to play with him and wrestle with him and they instantly smile when he walks into the room. Especially Baylee - Hayden is her rough and tumble buddy as Kendall isn't a big fan of wrestling! 

- Hayden has not stopped loving lego and his collection is getting BIG. Add the two new 'star wars' kits he got to his birthday today and we are running out of room for it all! We just decided we need to put some shelves up in his room to store all of his master pieces as there is no room left anywhere else! 

- Hayden has decided he wants to learn the drums (we shall see) and wants to be in the army when he grows up. He often flutters between fire man, police officer or army... so I am thinking it will be emergency services/helping people in some form or another! Unless the drum thing takes off and he decided to be in a rock band... hmmm... again - we shall see! ; )
