On Friday night we went into the city to 'City Creek Mall' and had the kids pictures taken with Santa. While waiting for our appointment time we went across the road to temple square to check out the Christmas lights! It was beautiful! The snow makes the lights shine extra bright and even though it's cold - everything looks so much prettier! We did however have to detour into Macey's and buy the babies some blankets as it was SO cold!
Once our appointment time came around we headed in to visit with Santa and have our pictures taken. The older kids were prepped before hand about what we needed from them. We knew Kendall would not be ok with sitting on Santa's lap so their instructions were to sit down first and smile at the camera so we could place the babies in and quickly snap a photo before Kendall freaked out. It was all going according to plan. Emma and Hayden got into position. Baylee happily sat on Santa's lap and then Paul added Kendall and tried to run out of the way so we could quickly snap the photo. Unfortunately Kendall's boot fell off in the process so by the time we put it back on she was already screaming. So - here you have it - our Santa photo for 2013!
I'm not going to complain, because - let's be honest.... this is typical Kendall! I am glad we captured this moment. It shows the difference in our babies personalities perfectly! This photo make us laugh and will be a great one to pull out when she is older! Below is the Christmas card we sent out this year to our neighbours... yes... we know - updated photos are necessary! We have booked some for spring so watch this space! : )
