The Wood family took us out on a bit of a 'field trip' recently. They took us to a place in Lehi called Cabelas. Cabelas is a hunting store that has a really cool section up the back with a bunch of stuffed animals set up to look like they are in their natural environment! It was so fun and amazing to see the actual size of some of the animals! Things we thought we small were actually pretty huge - especially the moose! It was massive! They were also able to feed the live fish that were swimming around below the display. The fish didn't seem that interested in eating though - especially because every child at the store that day wanted to throw them food! It didn't matter though - the kids still loved it!
After looking at the animal display we took the kids over to the shooting range. They got to use laser guns and fire at assorted targets that ranged in difficulty. The kids loved this and had a few turns shooting at different targets and seeing how high they could get their scores! Emma in particular really picked it up well and by the end was shooting every target she attempted to hit! It was a lot of fun and somewhere new on our list of places to take family when they come visit Utah! Thanks again Woods!
