I got a phone call a couple days ago saying that Hayden had been in an accident at school and that I needed to come pick him up. I freaked out and rushed down to the school. He had bumped into some other kids and fallen face first onto the concrete. He knocked both his front two teeth clean out! They weren't wobbly yet either so they cut his gums up a little when it happened. He also got a fat lip. His lip was quite torn up underneath but when we took him to the dentist to get the teeth checked out he trimmed all the hanging skin off and put some numbing gel on it. Hayden also had a lump on his head but with some ice it went down pretty quick. He was such a brave boy and I was so proud of how well he handled it! That afternoon Denise, Kylie, Danika and Chanley came around with some cup cakes to cheer Hayden up and help him feel better. Hayden couldn't really eat properly so couldn't eat them that day - but made up for it by having five the next day!
