Just Like Vegas there is way too much to blog about with Sarah's visit here! She was here for three weeks and we did so many fun things that it would be impossible to blog about them all. I did separate posts for the tulip gardens, Vegas and hiking the Y... so here are some photo collages and a bit of info of how we spent the rest of the time... again - so many photos that i didn't include and so much more then I can share so consider this a sneak peak at all the fun we had!

We introduced Sarah to our love of geocaching... hiking through the bush and walking trails looking for caches to add our names too. Some are hard to find and some are easy - it's very addictive and the thrill of finding ones that so few have found before you is awesome! Sarah has already found a few caches back home in Perth (they hide them all over the world). This was a fun pass time and one that we will continue for sure!

We visited temple square at night to see it and the ground lit up. It is so beautiful during the day but I particularly like it by night... We took some pictures, walked the grounds and of course - Sarah took her trade mark elbow stand photo!

One thing Sarah wanted to see when she was here was snow! We travelled out to the ski fields so she could experience the snow and the mountains. We had a snow ball fight, fell over numerous times (the snow was starting to melt so it was VERY unstable, and tried to take pictures - this wasn't overly successful as Sarah is squinting in most of them! Then would you believe it - a week before she was due to go home it snowed in Draper! It snowed! So much for spring! It was cool for Sarah to be able to stand in it and watch it come down though!

Hayden and I took Sarah for a picnic in the park. This was fun - it was such a nice day and the view of the mountains in the back was beautiful. We went to a more secluded park instead of the very busy Draper park and again - Sarah got one of her trade mark elbow stand photos!

One night we took Sarah into Gateway - an outdoor mall in the city. Gateway has a tonne of restaurants, shops and a fountain display. It is really pretty at night with all the lights and the water spouting out of the ground. It was a fun night - especially when Hayden ran ahead - hid behind a pillar and then scared the crap out of some poor guy and his girlfriend thinking it was Paul and I - this provided huge laughs not just to us but another family that saw it happen. The poor dude reacted like a little girl - he must have been embarrassed - way to go Haydie! : )

One thing we did a lot of was eat. We had Sarah try everything American from the cheesecake factory, Olive Garden, Dennys, Wendys, Krispee Kreme, Happy Sumo, Cafe Rio, Peanut Butter Cups (which she REALLY didn't like), a massive pizza from Costco and more. One thing she can never say is that we didn't introduce her to American food and restaurants or feed her well!

Paul managed to score us tickets to a pre-opening party at Cowabunga Bay. It's a massive water park ten minutes from our house in Draper. We always drive past it and think how cool it looks so we were very excited when Paul told us we would get to go! We thought it was going to be freezing cold because it was from 4-7pm... but the water was heated and almost felt like you were in a bath. It was a lot of fun!

One not so good thing that happened while Sarah was here was our silly decision to go get bangs! We both HATE them and pin them back constantly! What was even worse was that we did it two days before Vegas! Such a bad decision - can't wait for them to grow out!

One of our favourite places to go was Airborne Trampoline Arena. It is a super fun place with trampolines everywhere including up the walls. They also have foam pits and dodgeball. We started taking Airobics classes here too - it was such a good work out but also super fun!

Thanks for visiting Sar - it was so much fun and we can't wait for you to come out and see us again! : )
