Today the kids and I decided to make some muffins for Paul to take to work with him each day. Emma made Lemon and Poppyseed and Hayden made Blueberry!
The kids did all of the stirring and pouring themselves and had a really fun time doing it! They made a bit of a mess but didn't mind pitching in to clean up as they went. They also really enjoyed licking the bowl at the end - everyones favourite part of cooking!
Hayden needed to put two eggs in the batter. He had never cracked an egg before but really wanted to try. He cracked it fine but when he went to pull the shell apart he pushed the two ends instead of pulling the apart and the egg exploded out and all over him and his chair! It was hilarious and he freaked out!
I took a video asking the kids what they were doing - Hayden seems to have adopted some sort of weird British accent whilst pretending to be a chef... Who knows!!!
