This morning a lovely lady named Joyce from our ward came around with a huge box FULL of knitted scarves, beanies and head bands. Making woolen knits is her hobby and as she puts it "a great stress relief!". Joyce thought that we may need some winter knits as we are Aussies and not used to this cold weather! It was such a lovely thought! The kids and Paul had so much fun trying out different combinations of scarves and beanies but after a while it became a game of who could make the silliest combination and then pull a ridiculous face! I have never seen my children so entertained by a box of beanies and scarves! Joyce and her husband Mike were so helpful and gave me heaps of information on the best place to get furniture, how to figure out the driving and grid system and even where I could buy Bisto gravey! That's right! Joyce and Mike are fellow pomes! They moved out here from England twelve years ago! Such a lovely couple and so thoughtful - Thanks Mike and Joyce!
