The kids get out of school early on a Friday so they took advantage of it by getting into their snow gear and going outside for a play! It hasn't snowed properly for a week so the snow was limited but they still made the most of it!
Emma had fun trying to make her first ever snowman! She was getting a little frustrated at the lack of snow and also didn't realise how hard it is to make a snowman... but in the end she was happy with the little one she made : ) She also had fun playing and swinging on the freezing cold play equipment! Especially the monkey bars!
Hayden was his typical self... throwing himself down the hill with no consideration that there are big rocks near the bottom. I swear I had several heart attacks as he went charging along and then threw himself into a massive slide! He however thought it was incredible! He also enjoyed using his shovel to get big chunks of snow and throw it around. The neighbour has a dog that always barks it's head off when Hayden plays outside and it got a little annoying... so Hayden took one of his shovel loads and aimed it at the dog! hahaha! It scared it enough to shut it up for all of two minutes!
All in all it was a fun afternoon. The kids had a snow ball fight and pulled each other around on their little sleigh. It was fun sitting and watching them play so nicely together and enjoying the freezing cold snow!
